Graston Technique® for Auto Accident Injuries

Soft tissue injuries (STI) are when trauma or overuse occurs to muscles, tendons or ligaments. Most soft tissue injuries occur during sports and exercise activities, but sometimes simple everyday activities can cause an injury. Tendinitis and bursitis are common soft-tissue overuse injuries. Soft tissue injuries can be debilitating and annoying. At Mesa Auto Accident Injury Clinic, Dr. Casey M. Johnston, DC uses the the Graston Techique. He is the only GT certified provided in the Mesa area.

The Graston Technique® (GT) therapy is successful in effectively treating all soft tissue conditions, whether they are chronic, acute or post-surgical. GT helps with acute and chronic injuries to fascia, tendons, muscle and scar tissue of all kinds. It is used by several NFL, NBA, NHL and Olympic athletes on a regular basis. There is a testimonial by Michael Phelps the US swimmer who holds the world record in the most Olympic medics with 18 Golds.

GT uses specially designed stainless-steel instruments with unique treatment edges and angles to deliver an effective means of manual therapy. The use of GT instruments, when combined with appropriate therapeutic exercise, leads to the restoration of pain-free movement and function. The instruments also are used diagnostically to assess the kinetic chain, in an efficient manner using the principles of regional interdependence.

Fast Recovery

The technique and instruments used during the treatment process enable the treatment of scar tissue and fascial restrictions during rehabilitation that allows for faster rehabilitation and with greater success when the goal is restoring range of motion, eliminating pain, and bringing back normal function.

Less Treatment Time

In addition to accelerated recovery time your treatment time is also minimized. Typical treatment time is over a four-to-five-week period. You will have more time for you!
